The Traprock Peace Education Center at GCC is sponsoring a free talk by author Richard Unsworth in The Sloan Theater at Greenfield Community College from noon to 1:30pm on Friday, September 28th. The talk, titled: A Portrait of Pacifists: Le Chambon, the Holocaust and the Lives of Andre and Magda Trocme, focuses on leaders of a WWII rescue mission in France that saved the lives of an estimated 3,500 Jewish refugees. Richard Unsworth has taught religion at Smith College and Dartmouth College, and served as headmaster and president of Northfield Mount Hermon School. The public is invited.
