National Assessment Pilot in CC’s

The American Association of Community Colleges announced a pilot of accountability system. Voluntary Framework of Accountability [VFA] includes 40 community colleges around the country, including BHCC in MA. The pilot colleges will conduct data collection at the course, program and institutional assessment level. AACC published an assessment manual for colleges to consider. Other suggestions from Lumina Foundation include successful ideas for portfolios, collegewide assessment and other strategies for college date collection of evidence of student performance.
