The certificateProvides students a comprehensive introduction to renewable energy and energy efficiency; provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level employment opportunities in the renewable energy/energy efficiency field without the general education requirements of the associates degree; provides students already employed in the trades with knowledge and skills relevant to specific renewable energy/energy efficiency technologies, as well as broader understanding of the scientific, economic and political context of the industry; and provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for continued learning and education in the renewable energy/energy efficiency field, including transfer into the associate’s degree program.
