The certificatePrepares you for a career as a practical nurse, who provides direct and competent bedside care for adults and children in nursing homes and hospitals. You will be required to take a rigorous combination of liberal arts and clinical nursing courses over 40 weeks between September and the end of June. Your next stepTake the LPN licensure examination and enter the LPN work force and/or continue your education in an RN program.
